About the venue
Originally build in 1808, our flagship chalet, and remains a firm favourite amongst all who visit. Currently ranked as the number 1 chalet on Trip Advisor for the whole of the French Alps, this is perfect for anyone wanting to host wellness workshops or team retreats.
Although large, with 10 bedrooms and a total capacity of 26 people, at no point does it feel vast. The traditional yet luxurious alpine décor, roaring fire, and considered layout create an inviting space to relax, take a break, and spend time with friends and family.
Surrounding Area:
Located in the heart of the French Alps. Surrounded by mountains and only 30 minutes from Lake Geneva or 1.5 hours from Geneva airport, it is the ideal venue to bring a team together.
The Spaces
The sides of the chalet mirror each other, with all four of the ground-floor bedrooms opening on to broad balconies with sweeping views of the valley. Here you can find respite and peace during those busy mountain days, or enjoy an indulgent glass of fizz in the glow of an Alpine sunset. Three of these rooms also have bunk beds, so nobody need miss out on the adventures.
On this bottom floor you can also find a sauna and large, outdoor hot tub to soak and soothe those weary limbs.
Two more bedrooms are situated on the middle floor, and the remaining four are located by themselves on the third floor. Each bedroom is ensuite and has been curated to combine luxury with comfort. Their generous size and considered layout provide space for you to find peace and privacy in those important moments of alone time. However, once you’ve unwound and washed away the day, it is the communal spaces located on the middle floor.
The large dining area provides ample space for a pre-mountain breakfast or dinner-time feast, whilst maintaining a convivial feel. It is neither too big nor too small; it is the perfect space to enjoy one of our five-star hosted meals, or rustle up a gourmet self-catered meal package, whilst regaling the adventures of the day. Large French doors and wide windows provide views of the mountains from every angle, and high, wooden-beamed ceilings open the space as it fills with the collective laughter of a day well-lived.
